Today I am considering my place on the planet. It is a rather weighty subject, and the feeling of contemplation makes one feel small and quite useless.

I'm afraid I don't know what the answer is for the greater problem at hand, but your place is as a voice. You may just be one voice, but one voice may have an amazing ripple effect. I know I have learned much that I never would have been aware of were it not for you. That learning is something which I may pass on to others, as they may in turn. I'm not the expert you are, but the spreading awareness is still a very valuable weapon in the struggle you're a strong voice in.
