Okay, so I was fooling around with Picasa because it's just fun to play with, and I decided to click the "Blog This" button and see what would happen. Turns out you can use Blogger directly linked WITH Picasa to post photos. So, I was all "that's cool!" and set up a blog for myself to see what all I could do with it. All these Google tools are making my job obsolete.

I can identify with that.

Oh well, at least I can still do design work.. And graphic editing and stuff. There's no fancy tool that will automatically make a sight look pretty.

Very nice, very nice!

... your job will never be *that* obsolete; there will always be people that will pay you to *do* that work, at least... right? right?

And design work is always needed!

Well Blogger has done this stuff for awhile. Its one of the reasons I started blogging there. But I can't keep up with one blog let alone the 6 I have. So since all of my friends are on LJ (even now) I stuck with that.

I've always wished for a blogging client that let me post the same thing to LJ, Blogger, Myspace, Facebook, Wordpress (yeah I was hosting one for awhile), etc. That would be my dream. I haven't found it yet. Oh and it need to be FOSS (free and open source software).

The pics you put up looked great.

Thanks :) Glad you like em.

I only really use the LJ with any regularity.. but due to the integration with Picasa I'm pretty sure I'll use blogger a lot more because of that alone. I also like the label system for organizing things. It makes so much more sense.

People are always asking why I don't have MySpace and I just shrug. And truthfully not all that many of my friends know about my LJ.. So blogger will be a more public side of things.
