I want to go see the new Mel Gibson's movie. I want to see it one because I love movies, but also to see what the hype is about. I know it is over two hours of watching someone get beat up. I am not a religious person, granted I attend and work at DePaul, a Vincentian, Catholic institution. I am interested in it for the cinematography, story (which I don't fully know as I am not a theologian) and cohesiveness of the telling of the story.
I'm not seeing it for affirmation, an epiphinay or a sudden moment of "aha! thats what I never understood about Jesus, God, etc" and be converted. Nor can I take anyone too seriously that has declared his wife will be going to hell because they don't share the same Christian/Catholic philosophy.
More once I've seen the film.

Keep in mind if Bush backs this bill he would be a traitor to all his ideologies of keeping America for Americans, etc.
