So we put a bid on a house today. Damn woman countered and also doesn't want to pay for the radon test. Meanwhile she is lucky someone offered her what we did because her taste is hideous. It will mean a total overhaul of walls and floors. Not the condition, but her style/decor. It is a great house in a great location, so that's why we did it. We'

bidding on houses is such a ridiculous game. when we were looking a few months ago we were shocked at what people thought they could get for their crappy houses. one house was like a museum for large dolls. there were seriously dolls in every nook and cranny of that house. and the master bedroom had sliding glass doors as the only way in or out. and the owner used that as a selling point. wtf? who wants sliding glass doors to their bedroom????????? and they were asking sooooooo much $ for it. ridiculous!!
