HELP!

Hi everyone!

So I am slowly realizing that I need to eat more fruits and vegetables. I was wondering if anyone has any simple vegetarian type recipies that they would be willing to share.

This would also be a new manner of cooking for me and any tips/helpful words of warning/cautions that you would be willing to share would also be much

i absolutely love Waldorf salad. chop up apples (be sure to toss with lemon or pineapple juice to prevent browning), grapes, walnuts, pears, mandarin oranges, bananas (not too ripe, they'll mush!) and/or whatever fruits/nuts you like and toss with a little mayo or sour cream (as you like it). yummy yummy yummy ( ... )

Go raw! csulli17 March 31 2008, 20:02:08 UTC
If you're looking for quick and easy, raw might be the way to go. It's how I do most of my fruits / veggies. Salads are almost always quick and easy, and if you use dark green, leafy lettuces (including spinach, etc.), you get a lot of nutrition. Adding nuts and / or cheese to your salad will also bump your protein intake, which is never a bad thing.

As for fruits, pick a few that you like. They're one of the easiest things to tote with you wherever you go! Chomping down on some fresh fruit requires virtually no prep and little to no clean-up (mostly depending on how juicy your fruit of choice is).

If I find / think of any really good recipes for non-raw consumption, I'll let you know. :)
