I don't think you hate computers. I think you have fixing and supporting computers. In other words, you hate IT.
I'm exactly the same way. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that once I got out of school and got into programming, I suddenly no longer had to support computers anymore. We had an IT department for that. I could just point at the computer and say "It doesn't work. Fix it."
I always thought it was kinda sexy when I had an issue with my computer and could say to a friend... help me and then they'd sit down and fix my problem. However, I don't think it's sexy when your friends and family start IT whoring you out. I think, if I knew how to fix computers, I'd enjoy doing it because I'm such a tinkerer myself but I guess I can see why doing it all the time could get annoying.
