Ianto and I are going Weevil hunting for a few days on the coast and I need you to keep things in line. Don't open the Rift, don't do anything I wouldn't do, and for God's sake spare the team and yourself the wrath of Ianto and do your dishes once in a while. Or make Mickey do them. Tell him there's alien weapon technology growing in his teacup or something.
If you see a kid wandering around who answers to the name of Adric, tell him to go home and I'll meet with him in a few days. There's not really a good way to keep him out of the Hub, but just make it seem really boring in there (shouldn't be hard these days) and he'll lose interest.
Gwen's out of town and I'm not sure when she'll be back, Rose... well, she's working, just not always at the Hub. If anything huge comes up (insert witty remark here), leave a message on my mobile. If you could devote your attention to figuring out what's different about Martha, I'll give you a cookie when I get back. It might even be an Earth cookie. No promises, though.

Something's come up and I'll be leaving town for a couple days. We'll talk when I get back, and until then, please, for your own safety, stay out of the Hub. I'm leaving Doctor Harper in charge and he can get a bit tetchy about things and might try to make you clean up after people. And as much as I love my team, we're slobs.
