It is friday night

I'm in Michigan - finally. This past week has been one for the record books!

-moving out
-not knowing if I'll have a job in the new year
-flying to Michigan
-learning from my students

but what does it matter now? I'm in Michigan and it is Christmas Break! I'm ready to let loose and try to relax as much as possible!

today amy told me that she and aaron had dinner witchu in minn. awesome. then she told me that you told her that you were going to see potter with me last friday, and then my heart broke. last week was a wee bit shitty, cos my friend's dad died and i had a slew of committments with regards to that, including multiple trips to hell-on-earth... kinkos... then i did all my christmas shopping on thursday night... friday i was supposed to be with you and kim, but i had to miss the funeral so i really wanted to go to the dinner, but at the last minute my 60-something friend lo called, and just *had* to come over because she brought me some stuff from germany and just *had* to give it to me, and then i was wasted, and then my roommate missed his flight to cali, so we had to get up early to go to metro, and blah blah blah, and more blah blah blah

it toally rang. Yeah, whatever how can your absence ever go unnoticed? It seems like a common theme that we get together and not get together. Am I laying it on thick enough?
