you have such a way with words.
i really like that you stay in the mid-west and write about all these towns around the area. it makes me feel really personal. i also like the fact that you have several characters in this short story and are able to give them each just enough background to make them real, but not so much so that it makes the pacing drag.
you have such an engaging style.
