An organization could be seen as advertising for the websites that are being browsed, and the ads that they display. So they try to block everything that is non-essential. But also because of questionable material. How many people are honestly conservatively dressed on Myspace? Srsly.
I am very surprised livejournal isn't on the non-essential list. It isn't on the blacklist at my work either.
