Our biggest problem was that we hadn't even looked at that corner of the room yet. It's amazing, when someone throws a dying/dead patient scenario at you, how you can put blinders on. (By the end of the lab we were much more sane and competent. We even "revived" one.)

Oh good point - we did also have an anesthetic machine for some of the scenarios. Those are just a little too capable of exploding things if used wrong!
