A note from a fourth-year student on clinics:

"Small win of the day: The top button of my shirt will not stay closed, and I can't find a safety pin, so I use Monocryl suture to close it. The suture material is the perfect shade of purple to match my shirt."

(I was looking for a spare bit of suture the other day to fix the bag that I carry all my getting-through-nightshift things in...)

I just hope she owns a nice small pair of suture removal scissors, for when she gets home. It's hard to get out of a blouse whose top button can't be undone! :)
