speaking of rimbaud...

I saw patti smith for the first time tonight, speaking of rimbaud, i think she is like the incarnation of rimbaud but female and not psychotic. she talked and read and sang and played guitar, all by herself except for lenny kaye a few times. it was amazing. I was like 50 ft away. i suddenly feel like I can do anything, that anything is possible.
