Any opinions?

Which do you prefer, Ice Throne or Horns Throne? Ice one is more complete then the horns, so it isn't exactly a fair comparison, they both comply to the rules (no textures, under 500 triangles, etc), I dunno if it looks a bit too 'blocky' but it's pretty hard for me to model something with 500 triangles -_-

I gotta finish this by tomorrow.

Ice throne looks great, they're both nice but I personally prefer the ice theme.

As for the weapon, now I don't know jack about 3D modeling but you could probably use 3 triangles per spike coming outwards?

Yeah that can work, I almost forgot the original design was from a 4 sided triangle/cube thing (great terminology), but even then its 22 triangles, i could probably weak it to get it to 20 triangles using the 3 triangle design, that would scrape it to the poly limit. It's doable.

Between the two, I like the ice one better. But, I agree that combining them could have a nice effect. If it doesn't take too many triangles, move the back of the ice throne over to the horn throne and if possible with triangle limitations, I think it would look nice to curve the ends of the horns upward a little bit.

Whoops I read this a little late, you mean like tusks? I'll probably find some time tonight to alter that. After talking to a few friends I decided I wasn't going to combine them for the sake of adding intricate details to the horn throne (check the new entry), but hmm I'm going to curve them up, I'll be uploading everything at some point anyway, cheers!
