I know what you mean about the quality of the work man, people are so driven to get into the industry they are pushing boundaries. I've seen some of the work in progress models for this years competition and it's shaping up to be phenomenal.

its amazing what a little zbrush and a good normal map can do for low poly models. i though about entering as well, but figured i ll wait. i do have a few friends in this year's run, so it ll fun cheering for them.
