From wishes from
micia85 and
diiianne I wrote a tutorial for my coloring I used in my last icon posts.
From
to
1) Crop and resize your image:
2) Duplicate your base and set to screen 50 - 100%. You can change it in the end, if it doesn't look good to you.
I set to screen 50%.
3) Go to layer -> New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Color:
Reds:
Cyan: -100
Yellow: + 100
Black: +100
Yellows:
Cyan: -15
Yellow: -45
Neutrals:
Magneta: -35
Yellow: -35
4) Go to Layer again -> New Adjustment Layer -> Selective Color:
Reds:
Yellow: +15 / just play with the settings.
I set it on +15.
5) Go to Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Hue/Saturation and upper the saturation how ever looks good to you.
I set it on +20.
6) Go to Layer> New Adjustment Layer> Kurves:
RGB:
Input: 161
Output: 158
And you're finished! ;D If it's too bright or to dark now, you can still duplicate your base twice or just play a little bit with the settings, however you like.
Other examples:
( I didn't exactly used the same settings.)
I would like to see, what you've got!
