Sabrina gained 1.5 ounces yesterday and she's beat the jaundice, so she's off the lamps. An ounce and a half in one day. That seems so phenomenally huge to me. She's eating 20 ml each feeding now. that's triple what she was eating when she started feeding with the tube two days ago. Seems she's in a hurry to come home. I didn't hold her tonight. YAY FOR GAINING OMG! she is totally going to be home before you know it! look at her teeny little self!

you are a great mom!!! you miss her and soon she will be home with a cute little belly and her adorable little noises that wake you up :)

He is doing great. he isn't latching on but that doesn't bother me Im pumping like craaaazy! its nice to hav ehim home and not so overwhelming

that's what being a mom is all about... putting baby's needs first. she will be home with you soon enough and you can squeeze her all you want. and being an emotional wreck is also part of being a good mom. i read a card or something once that really stuck with me... "being a mother is choosing to have your heart walk around outside your body."

Glad you were able to visit with her last night. I won't be around this evening until late if you need me.. you can reach me after 9:00. Tomorrow I'll be away from 10 -- ??? with the funeral. I still offer to come out and pick you up tomorrow night if you need it. Let me know.

I may need it. The person who is coming to help me out for two weeks is still coming, today, but she's got a cold. I figure I'll be ok, cause I'm on killer antibiotics already. And she's just gonna need a day or two to kick the cold, so she's coming anyway, before JJ starts work.
