That's 8 track as in half of 16 tracks, because 16 is too many. Not 8 track as in the short-lived cartridge tapes. Because recording on those would only give me two tracks. Just making sure everyone realizes that.

Because 8 track cart tapes are inferior technology in this modern world.

(Our moon 8 tracks are vastly superior. They have 8 tracks, each with 8 tracks, each of those having in turn 8 tracks of their own. That's 512 tracks. Your puny earth 8 tracks would burst into flame merely from being in their presence, burning hotter than a thousand suns from the moon oxygen.)
