Do you require assistance?

Actually, Cecil, you can be of much more assistance if you avoid the tunnels. They remove all supernatural abilities, you see, which is why I chose them. I've checked, and the adversaries I face will have little they can do against me while I'm in here.

However, up above, their are three problems that currently reign. First, there is the deadly virus that some are contracting for their part of this experiment. Second, there are whatever psychopaths disregard my message. Third, there are those who are being transformed into children. If you can think of a way you can help with any of those problems, please do what you can.

Very well. I believe I shall have to employ Valvalis. Shall I send Edge to you?

If he doesn't mind. Lacking supernatural powers shouldn't prove an issue for him, and he'll be much better company for these people than I will when they turn back to themselves.

Ah, you're the one who warned me of Raenef's... change. Feel free to assist if you like. I don't believe I got your name?

Golbez. A pleasure to meet you, Kyle.

... Raenef is, as I'm sure you've guessed, not quite himself at the moment. However, I'm sure once he returns to himself, he'll be glad to see you.

Within the tunnels or without?

I'm not real, so I don't think I would survive going in the tunnels.

So without.

Very well. I intend to get this done with the bare minimum of damage, including to those threatening us. They are, after all, only being manipulated by the experiment.

To that end, if you can strike one of them unconscious, or restrain them in some way, that would be the best way to go about this.

Ah, Valvalis. Have you tested your powers yet?

It takes too much effort to do anything mundane, such as floating. However, it's quite easier to do anything on the scale of mass destruction.

Oh, terrific. Well, you'd best stay out of the tunnels. I don't even want to know what would happen to you down here. That leaves defending the village outside or looking after the children.

Cecil asked me to help you out. Need it?

I haven't gotten any responses yet, but with any luck, the brats will be headed towards us soon.

Remember Edge, we want to keep from hurting them too badly. It's only the experiment making them act this way...

Of course, of course. Just knocking them out is enough.

And once they're in the tunnels, we keep them down there until the experiment runs its course. It's a little cruel, but I can't think of a better idea...
