[Rydia immediately departs to find him, since there's no further chance at conversation over the journals. Of course, she's a little too late to join the struggle. The summoner arrives just in time to see his Meteor attack and Bahamut's subsequent collapse. For a moment, she can only stare wide-eyed, then she darts forward, intent on healing them both.]

I apologize, great Bahamut. But the situation seemed to require extreme measures. [Golbez looks behind him at the destroyed landscape. Thankfully the fires seem to be petering out due to lack of remaining fuel, if nothing else.]
