I've come to live in building 3, 4th floor, room 17.

I'm currently living with two other girls. One exhibits no special ability, while the other claims to have a genetic disorder that lets her turn into a werecat. There are also brothers who control both Wind and Earth, however the Earth master is much more sociable.

I'll make note of it.

I see. So, four in all?

There's others but... I wouldn't likely call them allies before... friends...

Indeed? ... I cannot deny that surprises me.

Depending on the data they're attempting to collect, it might even be necessary for them to allow us a certain freedom of movement.

Of course, that's making a number of assumptions about their objectives.

Which would explain why they tend to gather people with connections to each other.

Well, there was one experiment that made everyone say the first thing on their minds. That one was kind of embarrassing.

I suppose it would be, especially if one was trying to keep secrets. I'll have to make note of that one.

And then there was another one where everyone saw ghosts.

Ghosts? Can you be more specific?

Yeah, I know what ya mean. Hard ta remember we're little more than lab rats stuck in this place. Kinda nice havin' houses and all the food we want... usually.

We should start keepin' a list 'bout what experiments we've been through. Makes it easier ta tell the New Feathers. Do ya wanna hear 'bout the fun ones or the ones that were bad and dangerous?

(ooc: Just curious because I don't know the canon all that well, is he running around in a tin can suit of armor? I wasn't sure if he was supposed to get it from the shops or something. Duo needs to say something about it if he is.)

My point exactly. It's as if they intend to keep us completely satisfied with our lot... right up until they decide to "play" with us again.

Both, really. The dangerous ones would probably be more important though. I'd like to know what to expect.

[OOC: Oh, yes. Golbez feels naked without his armor, you never actually see him remove it in the game. Of course, he didn't arrive with it, but I assume he's managed to track it down from the shops by now.]

I think it's ta eliminate variables. I mean, we're not gunna act the same if we're hungry. And if we get sick, that's really gunna mess with their experiments. I think they're just tryin' ta keep their experiments as pure as possible. Us bein' happy and comfortable's just a bonus.

Well, depends on what sorta things bother ya. I still say the worse was when they changed people's sexes. 'least I wasn't here for that. They also released a virus or somethin' that made a lotta people sick and killed a few. Flooded the place, spread a vampire virus while we were stuck in a maze, stopped feedin' us, messed with the weather pretty bad, haunted us with ghosts, and let loose some damn pixies that got into my hair and made my wings pink. [Yes, that's terrible and tragic to him.]

So ummm... just wonderin'... what's with the tin can? Ya worried you're gunna spoil 'cause there's other ways ta keep warm in this cold.

(ooc: Everyone running around naked should be an event. The nudist event!)

There is that. They are scientists, after all. They'd want to keep everything udner their control...

[There's a brief pause as he rapidly writes all that down.] That's... all very interesting... I'd heard of the ghosts and the maze, as well as the one that made people talk without thinking, but the others are new to me. And they've never repeated an experiment?

Tin... Oh, my armor? I... honestly feel more comfortable with it on, having worn it for so many years...

[OOC: I'm picturing Senel punching out everyone for glancing too close to Stella during that event, Walter doing the same for Shirley, and the rest of the population either hiding in absolute embarassment or frolicking about like nothing's wrong at all.]
