Everything is finally settled here in La Jolla! My apartment is finally in perfect order, and the guests that have visited so far have enjoyed it. Rachel, my roommate, was here for a few days and we greatly enjoyed setting up our room, although her walls still seem a little blank. We will remedy that as soon as she comes in September! IS YOUR STAPLER SAFE? Because I heard about these "stapler elves" they come in during the night and shove it in the trashbin.

I think they're called "axels".

oh snap! don't touch the stapler! i'm thinking of installing some sort of an alarm system to ward of the elves/axels....or perhaps getting a restraining order!

I think it has been fairly well established that restraining orders mean NADA to the intrepid axel! I wouldn't let that stapler get too comfortable.

ALSO: have a sketch. And just an FYI, I was doodling people in Egyptian outfits during class today SO there will be that sort of artwork later, hahaha.

I'm glad to hear that your apartment and TAing are going so well. My apartment seems just as cool. I've been meaning to call you to tell you all about it. I shall being doing that soon.

Everyone here is going to Wicked next weekend too. Kathleen is actually seeing it as we speak! Hopefully I can see you that weekend. I'll be home Labor Day weekend as well.

I've heard rumors of the coolness of the apartment, and been meaning to call you too! but I keep forgetting to, oops!

and yay! glad to hear that you will be home. Perhaps we can get together on Saturday or Sunday? just give me a call when you are home and we can make plans, cause I'm not entirely sure what is up that weekend yet!
