10 Things...

This is too much fun to not pipe up. Plus, I'm in training this week, so my work and sleep schedules are a little more relaxed... Here are 10 things that I've done (or at least experienced) that I don't think you have - please correct me if I'm wrong...
  1. Worked a "grinder" on an America's Cup Yacht
  2. Been teargassed (not recommended)
  3. Ran a marathon
  4. Read more... )

Ok, I've clearly underestimated how many northerners / survivalists / cold weather junkies are on my list (#8), and I should've realized that some of you malcontents had also been tear-gassed as well (#2). I am surprised that anyone else got to go through the Notch, or run the grinder on a yacht (and yes, it was another corporate outing).

How about "spent a night in each of the 4 Timezones in the Continental US in 4 consecutive days"?

I got 3 timezones in 3 days, driving from Denver to Boston. Not four though!

I've been gassed, too, in a training environment. I can feel the burn right now, just thinking about it. I agree; it is not something I would do for fun. (I was going to say I wouldn't volunteer, but if it was part of training and I needed to go first as a good example, I would volunteer... but I wouldn't like it.)

I chime in on #8 also.
Back in my early twenties, I am talking 1988! eek. I lived with a man who loved to winter camp.
Now, we had a double sleeping bag, but he was skinny and I seem to recall giving him all my body heat.
