Alright, that project's due. Some of you did great. Some of you blew it. You know who you are, I don't need to name names.

Who's brave enough to show us what they did?

[OOC: try danbooru tags propaganda and communism]

I don't give false praise. Remember that time Valentine tried to turn in a tracing of his nuts as an abstract project?

Ain't you the only one who's markin it? Why'd we put it up here?

((OOC: Let's not mince words here. Artistically, Jio's project is a piece of shit. He tried surprisingly hard, as the garbage can of rough drafts in his room will attest, but he's not an artist, and never will be. The people in it are all drawn like how you'd add flesh to a stick figure and the faces are one step up from emotes. As far as the subject matter goes though, the idea is that the fictional country's "structured environment" will cure all ills: hunger, homelessness, disease, etc. It stops just short of saying that "structure" will bring the dead back to life.))

I thought perhaps you might be proud of your work, Jio. You had a good, well thought out idea, although your technical undestanding of drawing wasn't enough to get it all out.

Really? I thought the most important thing in an art class was how good ya draw

Sometimes it is. And you didn't do good when it was. But it's also important to have a vision of what you want to convey, and you had that in this assignment. Technical skill without artistic vision is masturbation nothing.

I'm disappointed, Cavallone. I'm not forcing you to do anything. You know my policy: if this is a class you've been assigned against your will, tell me and i'll give you a passing grade whatever happens. You seemed to want to do this though.

[He did his. It might have been influenced by some of the manga Chika lent him. Maybe.]

Not bad, LeRiche. You've been drawing/painting a little differently lately, yeah?

I have been studying a bit. The study abroad to Russia over the summer left a few hours a day not engrossed in technique classes.

Also I got a tutor of sorts.

A tutor huh? Might it be a girl with glasses?

[Yotsuba just thought this would be funny. But boy...is she ever proud of it.]

I like mine!!!

[She's surprisingly good at art...due to just studying a myriad of random things over time...but...she'll be arsed if she's actually motivated for it at all. THERE'S JUST TOO MUCH TO LEARN/DO/PLAY WITH IN THE WORLD TO SIT AND FOCUS ON ART!! ADD perhaps?]
