[Oh, she can be a strange person all right. The lights were all off in the room, dimly lit by what light could filter through the closed shades and various candles placed about the room. She had made Star Wars references...and she intended to follow up on them.]

Yes, come in, you may.

[When Simon enters the room, he'll find Suwako sitting solemnly behind her desk...wood carving tools laid out neatly over her desk. To be honest, she isn't all that great at it...as she doesn't keep up practice...however she does know how to do it.]

Simon stepped into the classroom and stopped short, wondering if he'd somehow misinterpreted what was supposed to happen here. The room looked like some kind of Temple of Doom, with strange implements readied for some kind of grisly ritual. He hesitantly stepped farther into the room.

"Um... Ms. Moriya? We're doing wood carving right?"

"Yes, yes. Wood carving, you will learn. Come. Begin, we will."

Suwako seems to be taking this Yoda role a bit too seriously as she turns in her chair, facing her desk and looking at the implements she had laid out.

However, it seems her act had already grown boring, as she stopped speaking in her "Yoda" voice.

"Turn the lights on when you come in, ok? This was just a stupid joke."

Simon fumbled for the switch and the lights came on, changing the candles from eerie flickering lights to pointless props. Simon hid a sigh and unslung his backpack as he approached Suwako's desk.

"I brought my stuff with me." He reached into his bag and pulled out a smaller set of tools than Suwako's, some pieces of wood, and the wrapped carvings. "Oh and I brought a couple of my better carvings, if you wanna see 'em."

He unwrapped the two carvings and set them on the desk: a pig-like thing with a star-shaped red stain on its rear and a dog covered in red spots. Despite his claims on the network, it was obvious what they were supposed to be and weren't really that bad.
