sooooooo, it's only 3 weeks now until a new term, and year, begins chez york uni/my second home and i'm beginning to get a bit concerned. will i actually be able to remember how to speak french and german when we go back? that is a rather crucial question at the moment for me, as i'm severely doubting my academic abilities right now, having only

I would say if you are going to get a job at all then make it this year rather than next. But at the same time if you can stay comfortable without then thats probably better. Or find the middle ground and get a Xmas job (so just for a short period - though you may not be able to get one that releases you when you want to go home)...Sorry that hasn't been of much help.

yeah, hmm will have to assess my finances i think, if i do get a job it will have to be this year though (so i have enough money to last me a year abroad next year)
