so i just found out that a friend of my parents died today. she was about my moms age. a couple weeks ago she was feeling light headed and went to the doctor. found out she had cancer all over her body. i dont know the details, but the other day she fell into a coma and showed no signs of brain activity. so today her family decided to pull the plug ( Read more... )

listen,...I thankfully do not understand the misery of your parents friends family, and hopefully will not. However, I do understand and value parents now much more than before. never let a minute go by without telling them you love them.
Never say bye on an empty note. The week I left for school during the summer, I decided not to hug my mom goodbye and give her a kiss because she was acting odd. A week later, I come home to see that she is on medications for brain surgery. I regreted not hugging her from the minute I left, and if I could redo that moment, it would be done in a flash. Let me know if you ever need to talk!
