Well
Went to the hospital yesterday.
Where we had some bad news.

Mom's by pass operation didn't work. They are very unsure what to do next for the best.

And the bed sore she had on her heel, from when she was last in hospital has traces of MRSA in it..

Yes you read it right ...

I wouldn't worry about the MRSA. It's highly common in NHS hospitals, and is treatable. It's the hygiene of the hospital and its staff which are to blame for the condition unfortunately. There are so many drugs to treat it though, she'll recover from it pretty soon.

I just read up on it quickly. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Methicillin-resistant_Staphylococcus_aureus it's really interesting.

Regards her foot, i'm really sorry to hear it's not worked. It sounded so positive to begin with as well. It's obviously really got them baffled. They are probably gonna consider another possible solution, before they go down the removal route, but I guess they're running out of ideas now. Maybe the balloon will work? I hope it gets sorted anyway before they have to go to the extreme and remove it.

Keep us informed anyway x
