primordial cries of anger and disgust

I've been writing about my Amsterdam trip all week, which is just as well since, if I was writing about the Here and Now I would just be bitching about These People. Sometimes when I'm having a bad day, I think back to the evening of hysterical laughter and the Gutenburgs. It usually makes everything okay.

Mr. Gutenburg enjoyed the waffles and chocolate in Brussels, but he hopes he won't get too fat. He played Dodgeball last week, but he certainly isn't on the crew team.

It's not the anticipation of the night so much it is....just sighing a little bit of relief before you close your eyes. The traffic lights blur into a bright bouquet...you can't always walk away.

If you're going to attend, attend for the class. Their snobbery isn't your enthusiasm and eloquence. Jesus! You're in Europe!
