Tonight was pretty quiet at the shelter. Which is a good thing! We still haven't gotten the spring influx of kittens. Last spring there were nights that every time we looked up, someone was coming in the door with a box of kittens. Running around to get them all booked in, assessed, and put in clean cages with litter, blankets and food keeps us

What a beautiful scene with the deer. I miss my studio in Plymouth very much. I was a very rural area, there were a couple horse farms down the road. We had a huge meadow across the street, and they came all the time. Sometimes I would just sit in my window (2'd floor) and watch them.

Sounds like a fun night at the animal inn! Kinda like being at the hospital, all these patients need care, but there's so many of them!
