My letter to the editor
I don't know if they will publish it, but I wrote a letter to the editor of the Winnipeg Free Press about the study just released about nurses facing abuse. The two responses I've seen so far have targeted the "nursing shortage", and talked about how the employers are providing training to nurses to help the "defuse" a volatile situation. It just astounds me how ignorant so many people are about medical stuff. And when they don't know or don't understand, why the HELL do they always seem to become accusatory and look for someone to blame ( Read more... )
