So I've been at school for almost two weeks, which is weird because it doesn't feel like two weeks. I love being back here. I missed college life so much. My body finally stopped getting up autmatically at 7:30 am and I can sleep in way late again, which is awesome. Ok, Rufus Wainwright plays in DC this fall and I really want to go. However, he's playing on Halloween, which is not cool, because Halloween rocks. Boo, I don't know what to do.

Ok, I haven't updated in forever, mostly because camp and lack of internet access has made that difficult. We're finally moved into the new house, with boxes everywhere, but we have cable! I ended up seeing Alex for a few hours yesterday. He was stuck in Long Island for the weekend after having his flight canceled. He stayed with Nuri and saw all of his frat buddies. On Monday, I drove out to Lawrence by myself, after mapping the trip without a computer or mapquest, and got to Nuri's in 2 hours, no traffic, no getting lost. Alex ( Read more... )

I just talked to Alex and he's coming home tomorrow! I'm so happy he decided to go back to Rochestser :) So, that means he's coming to visit in two weeks, the weekend of July 15.

Oh man, I'm so relieved he's ok and safe and happy and had fun. I can't wait to see him.

Ok, so the summer has been going interestingly. My mom has had to deal with a ridiculous amount of shit. She was hit from behind and her car was totaled, and we need to find a new car by monday. Also, this house that we're moving into, was almost taken away from us yesterday, when the dumb owner decided we had to push the closing back to july 18 ( Read more... )
