Kara bought a sewing machine

Kara bought a new sewing machine. I wanted to get it for her, but she insisted. We looked at gowns in a store and we got some magazines. Kara can sew really well and she wants to make our dresses for the wedding. Yes, I'm calling it what it means to me, which is a wedding. It's going to have everything a wedding has except the piece of paper

So we picked out a pattern that she said she could adapt into something nice. I was thinking French Bohemian, with a dash of the milkmaid and the bit of the gypsy for something different

Thank-you, honey. She had to special order the fabric. She wouldn't tell me what she picked out. She wants it to be a surprise... The little devil... She is very particular about it all, and she seems to have a flair for this kind of thing, so I think it will turn out very nice indeed. Thank-you so much for sharing.
