After another hour of walking the factory looms over you. It appears to be around five stories in height. All five floors are illuminated. Walking around the building you find three entrances.

The first entrance leads directly into the first floor of the building it is two large push open doors guarded by one man. Up close you can see the man is carrying a holstered semi-automatic pistol.

The second entrance appears to lead to a storm cellar it is about 100 meters from the building. The wooden doors are held closed by what seems to be a simple lock.

The third entrance is a chute which is has a three foot radius. It leads directly up and smells of wet newspaper, ink and old food. There is a half filled dumpster directly beneath.

Jason: I walk forward and examine the lock, attempting to break if possible

The lock is a simple chain bike lock. After a few minutes of pulling and turning the lock comes undone.

You wrap your jacket around the nest half tucking the nest into an inside pocket. The growls beneath you go ominously quite and as you turn to walk back down the stairs a dark shape shoots for you clawing its way up your pants and into your jacket where it curls up around the nest.

You hurriedly shed you jacket and look at it in dismay.

Jason: After assuring myself that the creature poses no immediate threat (by a close observation) I take my jacket and continue to examine the shelf....

You peer warily at the pocket containing the nest and creature. There are a few squeaks, but they seem more restful than threatening. You pick up your jacket and after some thought you carefully turn it inside out and put it back on.

The shelf is too high for you to examine closely. However from your position on the stairs you did notice a bottle which had rolled to the back and been left behind.

Jason: with curiosity piqued and an anticipatory "hmm", I reach beneath the shelf and take the bottle to examine closely
