OW! I've been bitten by horses once or twice, and yeah... ow. *hands you an ice pack* I've heard about zebras being aggro; apparently they're one of the only equine subspecies that are virtually untrainable.
Those last little dudes look like some kind of goat to me. They're super cute, though! Great pictures all around.
Bwahahaaaa! Love the image of the immobile Mr C. -- priceless! I totally walk around with forgotten food in my pockets too =)
The Dingo Story
My sister J went on a trip around the world. During a stay in Tasmania she and her friends went swimming. It was on a popular beach, lots of other people around. Suddenly they saw a couple of dingos running around on the beach and people running to avoid them. J, being rather far out in the water, stayed calm and just waited. Then one of the dingos started swimming towards her! She still stayed calm, thinking it was just curious. But the insane creature swam right up to her and bit her hard in the thigh! Ouch! She was shocked which was probably a good thing because otherwise I just know she would have gone after it =)
Something about motherhood causes us to lose braincells, but we retain the survival instinct to stash scraps of food for later consumption (it's more likely the food gets sent through the washing machine).
Your poor, mild-mannered sister, watching panic all around her before becoming a tasty snack. She needed a good dose of 'fight or flight.'

I don't blame that zebra... well, I do, but he just thought I smelled yummy.
So many of the animals look the same. You could only tell them apart from the shape of their horns. But those little babes were adorable.
