It's wormwood, no? Mix it with asphodel, and that cocktail has some serious kick. It'll knock you right out! ;-)

~admires pretty garden pics~ I love the colors! Everything has a light and magical feel to it. It's the sort of garden, I think, where fairies might live. :D

It's wormwood, yes! Draught of the Living Dead has nothing on a Cuban limeade for taste and serious kick. :D

This year's flowers are more delicate and playful compared to the usual fare of marigolds, not that there's anything wrong with zone five's annual workhorse. I had faeries in mind too when I saw the pots in the window box for the first time.

Hee, yes, Cuban limeades are most effective, and much more pleasant. :D

Lovely! And don´t you dare scrub those pots! Gotta love the shabby chic ;)

I do love the shabby chic; it gives a cottage feel to a colonial house.

But I worry about salt toxicity because those stains have been building for three years. I wonder just how long I can let it go before plants start getting sick.

lovely pots, and gorgeous flowers- don't scrub the pots, paint them with a mixture of yogurt and moss that you have run thru the blender.

Thanks, tudorpot. I actually like the patina on the terracotta, but the 'experts' say it's bad for the plants. What does the yogurt/moss mixture do?

Thanks, scoffy. It's a fun departure from my usual marigolds.
