Technology update

Mini-Zune - it sizzled quietly after it's 'bath' for a day, and after drying out for slightly over 3 days, it seems to work still.  The battery doesn't hold much of a charge, but given Dan usually just uses it in his office, it's come through in great shape.

Dishwasher: seems to still be working, juts needs 3 - 5 minutes to whir to itself before ( Read more... )

Heh. My new car (2009 Subaru Forester) sensed that there was a passenger in the front seat when I tried to place a 20 pound bag of library books there. At least that's a bit more substantial than a diaper bag, but it was still annoying.

4) The new Toyota headrests seem designed for slumpy people with dowager's humps. Instead of being able to sit up straight, the headrest forces my head uncomfortably forward.

This is the main reason we went with the Toyota Sienna instead of the Honda Oddesy when we needed a new minivan. I don't understand how anyone can drive that way! Perhaps there is a feature to move it somehow.
