Biking with kids update

I just realized the solution to wanting to tow Patrick & carry Ian on my bike at the same time is to replace our existing cheap rear toddler seat with a front mount seat. I've already ordered an i-Bert front child seat which, if it fits with me & my bike, means I can use a Trail Gator to tow Patrick's existing bike; provided I also switch out his

Let me know how it works -- we have a bike trailor that Peter loves and Amber hates. I want to go out with the kids on my bike more, but Amber screams the whole time. She might like this a bit better.

:) if were my two, and Ian was screaming, I'd strongly suspect Patrick of bothering Ian. I'm certain you've ruled this out (and I'm jealous it isn't a problem for you). The problems of using both a trailer and a toddler seat at the same time aside, do you think Amber's ready for a bike seat yet? [sitting steadiness with the added head weight of a helmet]

The front seat should arrive early next week. The tow bar mid next week. I'll try to finagle time to install the front seat as soon as I can.
