Raptors at the U!

While approaching the quad from Red Square yesterday, I heard gulls screeching more raucously than usual. I looked to spy numerous gulls, and, to my thrill, 3 bald eagles and at least two hawks, possibly Cooper's but I suspect juvenile Red Tailed, all soaring low over UW. Before I got across the quad they had all left, and the seagulls were more

I have no idea why so many raptors would be out together; were some chasing the others maybe? -em.
