Vote: Facial Close-up
I'm really sorry for the unexpected delay and for leaving you all wondering when voting was going to begin. Unfortunatly my internet connection has been giving me a lot of problems lately and was basically down most of the weekend (I'm not sure if it was up when I was at work) preventing me from accessing LJ or my PB account. I thought we finally had the problem fixed this morning... but apparently that was shortlived. Anyway it seems to be working for the time being, so I best be getting this done quickly. Please note that since we're off schedule voting is going to have to run until Tuesday morning, so don't go showing your icons publically until then.
We have 24 breathtaking icons for the Facial Close-up theme, thanks to all those who were able to submit. The special category for the week is Best Colour, you must choose an additional icon (one that you haven't already selected) that makes use of colour in an effective and eye-catching way. Whether the applied colour scheme is vibrant, muted, monochomatic, grayscale or some sort of variation.
And now it's time for all abled members to cast their votes. Please vote if you can, whether you submitted an icon or not, as the more votes we receive ensures more accurate results. To vote leave a screened comment to this post with the numbers of your first, second and third choice icons that you feel are best overall, in that order because that is how the points will be awarded. Then you must choose a remaining icon that you feel best fits the special category described above, please make sure it is a different icon than those three already selected.
Here is an example of the proper voting format. Just make sure I can differentiate which of the four chosen icons are first, second, third and which is for the special category. Remember you must select a different icon in each category in order for your vote to count:
First Place: 45
Second Place: 72
Third Place: 54
Special Category: 80

- Vote for the best/most appropriate icons overall, not your favourite series/character
Do Not's
- Do not vote for your own icon or feel obligated to vote for your friend's icon
- Don't vote for an icon more than once, choose a different icon for the special category
- Do not use/distribute/advertise your icon during or try and pressure people's vote
- Do not create multiple fake accounts to cheat, I check IPs/account status
If you accidently forget to vote for a category or vote for the same icon twice, I will reply to your comment asap and give you a chance to revote. Otherwise if you break one of the rules chances are your vote will be discarded and/or depending on the offence your icon may face disqualification.
