Hey, hello. ^_^ First of all, I’d like to apologize for the recent lack of activity here, especially if it made it seem like I’ve forgotten this place or something. I was busier than usual and I had a lot of things on my mind this past week that I couldn’t get myself to focus on the things I should be doing here.

As late as this is, I'd just like to post here and say how much I'm going to miss this community. ♥ I've learned so much and been pushed to ultimately utilize my Photoshop to make decent icons; and I feel that without clamp_improv, my icon-making skills (however little I have of that XD;) would never have the decency that they do now. Learning many tips and tricks pre-installed in my digital arts program has been really fun too~ :D ZOMG! I can make light textures by myself, now! XDDDD

So thank you, quitty, for making this community! 8D; I am going to miss all of your great challenges (and lovely icon I oogle at) and also my making bannermakers for this comm. Which reminds me, I've got to finish those two up. D8 And, of course, seeing all the pretty icons the members create. ;;

I'm sorry this is a late reply but I just wanted to take my time in gathering my thoughts together because it was really such a pleasant surprise to find and read this, and it really warms the heart. Although running the community was difficult at times and the decision to close it was hard as well, I'm satisfied knowing that at least one person really enjoyed this place, as well as took from it what I was aiming for. And to think that that person is you because I love your icons, it was always such a treat to find you've submitted for a challenge.

I really appreciate the comment. Plus, I'd like to thank you lots for volunteering as a banner-maker especially because you were the first one to come in and help in that aspect. For other things as well, like that time I asked you to make animated icons. Gah, you've been a great help in so many ways and such a wonderful participant all around, and I'm really, really grateful for that...!

Aw - it really was my pleasure! ♥ I don't see many do-it-yourself icon communities on LJ (or maybe I just don't look hard enough >>;), so when I joined this community, I really wanted to be active. 8D;
