The thing would be to scan it and color it digitally, or copy it and color it traditionally.
Either way, I really doubt anyone would actually damage the original page given in the Nakayoshi: no one would want to touch it, just like you! :) (I wouldn't either!)
looks fun! I must be one of the few that would love to color it! XDDD I'm sure I can do a good job there! :P I have a box of Derwent coloring pencils that would fit the job ^.^/
Btw, would you happen to be active in other SNS? Twitter? Tumbler? Instagram? I recently created accounts on all 3 in order to keep in contact with some of the members of this community with which I've been talking for many years.
