Butterfly
“You know what butterflies means?” asked the blond and the ninja listened carefully.
“No,” he answered looking closely at the insect perched at the tip of the rice-lamp screen. “It’s just a bug isn’t it?” he said and wrinkled his nose in disgust.
“Just a bug?” the blond said giving it some thought. “No it isn’t just a bug and even if it was it would still not be just a bug.”
“Idiot,” the ninja said leaning over to kiss the other man.
“I’m not an idiot Kuro-chan! It’s you who are so narrow minded,” the wizard teased letting the light kiss on his cheek slightly turn it red.
“So what’s all this bug talk all of a sudden,” the ninja asked leaning back against the wall, a question mark painted on his face.
“It’s not bug talk! I’m talking about butterflies,” Fai complained falling down to sit by the other man’s side. “Butterflies are persons that are dead,” it was utterly silent and all that could be heard was the distant sound of bird chipper. It was a lovely spring day.
“Like the souls of people?”
“Yes. The souls of the dead turn into butterflies,” he paused and pulled Kurogane’s arm around himself. “They are the souls of those dear to you.”
Kurogane noticed that Fai’s voice had changed. It was, bittersweet, just like those candies Fai bought so that when he would complain about Fai eating too much sweets he would proclaim that it wasn’t just sweet but bittersweet also.
“Does that make you feel better?” he asked burying his nose in the mage’s hair.
“Yes,” the blond answered. “And also a bit sad.”
Kurogane kissed Fai’s head gently.
“Not all of us are butterflies.”
So tired and posting semi-bad fic ^^ Still I'm quite happy, I did write something after all xD And I did draw a drawing before I went to bed yesterday, perhaps I'll post it tomorrow *yawn*
On another note: I need a new fandom *sobs* Any suggestions? That possibly have gay bishie goodies in it? And preferably is ongoing with a fandom that is actually alive (> >); I miss going mad over spoilers and such. Not happening frecuently with tsubasa and holic I'm afraid... I remember the good old times when I had to use like 100 NOK on my cellphone to check su_chans journal because I was away from my comp... It's lke it's a life away. I've started watching Elfen Lied with sis and I love it. Very bloody and very cute. The fandom is quite dead though, but the series is finishined so what do I expect. Tsubasa died on me when it was still ongoing so... After that it is Claymore and Parakiss, both anime. I've watched random Parakiss episodes in The Philippines and I love it: You're so lucky, you're so lucky!~
