It’s raining this time, the two trees a poor shelter against the heavy torrent of raindrops. Subaru pulls his coat over both of their heads, and Euphy shifts closer, and then -

They’re kissing.

It’s soft and warm and only lasts for a few seconds (both of them so shy, so meek still when it comes to this --), but Euphy is smiling brightly when Subaru pulls away - so brightly and warmly - that, instead of apologising and blushing profusely, he smiles back.

Euphy is not there when Subaru is invited to a private conference with one of her older brothers and -- as Euphy termed it -- his ‘bestest and most special friend’.

Obviously, just as Hokuto implied, it’s not conference, but just an opportunity for this elder brother of Euphy’s to show his manliness by taking on the role of an ‘elder, protective brother’ (guys just can’t live without this, they always need to show who’s in power - really, Hokuto said, rolling her eyes

I think sweet and romantic is what I was aiming for. And sappy :P

I admit, I'm still obsessed with CG. So of course, Lelouch and Suzaku would make an appearance. And Suzaku is forward here because, well, I think he's not been as screwed over by the universe as in the original Code Geass timeline here. So, he's really not as um, ... hesitant in showing his affection for Lelouch XD.

LOL the Omake. It didn't quite fit the original scene, but I wanted to keep it -- so I added it as an omake XD. Euphy is a total chess master here, you know XD? She gets it from her brothers :P
