It’s in the dim glow of cafe - a bad replica of a Viennese cafe -- that Hokuto first sets eyes on her.

Long waves of fine, thick blonde hair, a supple bosom and blue eyes that twinkle with mischief (so bright, even in the bad lighting of this cafe --).

They’re just looking at each other, and it’s only when the other woman licks her lips - slowly and sensually - that Hokuto realises what’s happening.

She’s flirting. It should disgust her, puzzle her or even just make her feel a bit awkward, but there’s none of that. No, none of that at all, but genuine curiosity coiling in her stomach, an electric thrill that is nearly all consuming

I really enjoyed reading this, it's really, really hot! We definitely were needing more femmeslash in this meme. :D

I'm only a bit confused by why Hokuto seems to be ashamed of it, I'd love to hear your thoughts on why you chose this approach.

Not!OP/not!Writer is lesbian and can understand that Hokuto was embarrassed or even ashamed -- not only is she breaking a general taboo by picking up a woman, she is also picking her up for something that will only last for a night, and in that certain setting she lets her composure and self-control crumble in ways she normally wouldn't. And it's her first time, I'd honestly have been concerned had she been as self-confident as usual. :p

Thank you for replying. I'm female and bisexual, so I understand what picking up a woman and having a one night stand entails, as well as what a first time with another person of the same sex is like. As I explained to the anon!author, I guess in my head-canon I saw Hokuto being comfortable with the situation due to the way she normally acts in canon and mirroring my own experiences. I do sympathise with your assessment of her composure crumbling however, and can see it as an issue. It all has to do with one's idea of characterisation and I fully respect what the anon!author has written, I was only curious about her reasoning. Once again, thank you for taking your time to reply! :)

Thank you so much for answering. I guess it all stems from one's own expectations and ideas about characterisation. I've never felt ashamed or embarassed about sex, be it with a woman or a man, and I guess that in my head-canon Hokuto is like that too, especially since she incentivates Seishirou's flirtations with her brother. Yes, it's a joke most of the time, but I don't think she'd say the things she did unless she was comfortable with homosexuality. But now I fully understand your reasoning and thank you for explaining it to me. I still love the fill and thank you very much for it! :DDD

I left that open to interpretation, but yes, I did have Milly in mind (lol, not so secret a, I blame you XD).

I wasn't really planning to write this fill, but I thought "hooot" and then, why not? Oh, if you want to, you can totally write a fic where it's not a one time thing XD
