I dunno how Tezuka's parents turned out to be so evil, but halfway through the fic, I stopped caring. I feel so... sorry for Tezuka's father in the real tenipuri universe. Huhu..

Atobe and Fuji are like a MUST in my fics. My TezuRyo will have Atobe, and my AtoRyo will have Tezuka. Fuji is my devil in disguise, and as we all may already know, he's our ultimate matchmaker! Huahaha!

This is the saddest fic with a happy ending I have ever read! Oh man. I suspected that father of Tezuka's had something to do with it all. Grrrrrrrr! And, Fuji (even though we didn't get to see too much of him after the truth was exposed) has been forgiven in my heart. Fuji has been growing on me more and more lately.

So happy Ryoma's alive. And I'm with Atobe, He didn't know if he could survive if he were to take the man's place. Except that I know I wouldn't have survived.

And Eiji fainting and Oishi dropping his parfait gave me a little laugh among all the sorrow.

The ending was worth the wait. *runs off to save in memories*

To think that this fic was 'supposed' to be a long one-shot... It's sad to have to split them into parts because LJ doesn't accept too long an entry.

I had fun twisting Tezuka's father's character. And it's too bad that I don't put Fuji much in the second part (but he will be in the next few fics which will be written in the same universe).

The parfait... I blame it all on Tuti and Nagayan in DL1! Really.
