Look, just because I'm 17 and technology-savvy doesn't mean I want to buy your 400$ e-book reader (that looks enough like the real thing!!!!1!! not). Haha! I love your rants!
It's true, though. My sister has an ebook reader thingy. It's pretty cool when I think of putting .pdf files of my text books and carrying that one thing around instead of my back breaking under their weight everyday. But on the other hand, digitizing and computerizing EVERYTHING is just blah. I mean, books don't run outta battery on you. You don't have to charge them every night for 3 measly hours of reading. But then again, think of how much paper would be saved? I dunno. It's good for the environment and all that... But I don't think I like the idea much. Like, this book called "Uglies". My sister has read the pdfs of her ebook reader but when the books arrived by mail she was jumping up and down. There's just SOMETHING about reading a REAL book that ebooks can't live up to.

Yeah, I know what you mean. If we could convert textbooks and notebooks into a handy little computer, I would buy that shit. But you're right. A real book is awesome on levels that you need to be in love with books/reading to understand. :)
