More recommendations for Leviathan fans

I did a recommendation post for period books a few months ago, but I have two very different recs for the community. Polar opposites, in fact.

I'll start off with my serious one, The Beauty and the Sorrow: An Intimate History of the First World War by Peter Englund. Has anyone else read this? I just finished it this weekend and it was incredible

So I spent like 5 hours yesterday watching Coffee Prince when I should've been doing, oh, I don't know, everything else, and I would like to shake my fist at you very emphatically for pointing the way towards such a fun little time-consuming show. (And I do agree that the actress makes a passable boy! Amazing!)

Sorry to slip in out of nowhere, but I wanted to ask...

"The other one is silly, but it is just like a certain kind of Alek/Deryn fanfic." <-- I assume you mean the kind of fic where Alek thinks he's gay for Deryn? Because I've been looking everywhere for that kind of fic! The only one I've found with this specific plot point was one on DeviantArt, so I was wondering if you could perhaps recommend/link any of these fics you've read?
