Bloody Faecesbook....

For some reason that godforsaken social media site of doom won't let me post this video, so I've fallen back on good ol' reliable LJ.

Anyway, as proof that I don't just listen to metal, here's the video of an old Melbourne band who are missed greatly. They put on a pretty good show.

reminds me a lot of early PJ Harvey. Which I now want to listen to, very loudly.

Yeah, a fair bit of their rocky stuff had her stamp all over it. Her vocals, definitely.

I have to get hold of their '04 album again. It was a mindfuck.

If you do find it in electronic form, help a girl out. I enjoyed the track. :)

I used to have a rip from a CD somewhere. Actually, two of my mates have it, so I'll hook you up in a few days!

That was pretty good. For some reason I thought their singer was a guy at first but I figured it out quickly enough. When was their heyday? They seem pretty 90's-ish, in a good way.

Browsing your tumblr thing it sort of saddens me that vinyl was mostly dead by the time I started getting into music. Perhaps a hobby to take up later when I have more money.

Sorry for being an absentee friend lately, btw.

It goes both ways, mate. I'm so bad at LJ it's ceased being amusing - I haven't even started reading that novel you wrote, even though I meant to, and I'm only rarely on this thing. So don't say sorry, because at least you're commenting! I'll have a listen to that music of yours you posted when Im at work tonight - it sounds intriguing. Obviously something you've kept close to your chest!

Glad you liked the tune Ironically, they were around in the mid 2000s, but broke up a few years ago. From what I understand, the drummer and the singer/guitarist were banging and things went pear-shaped. Probably a reason one shouldn't have people who are attracted to each other in the same band!

When I get a hold of a ripped copy of their '04 album I'll put it up for you and Martha. They did another album after that which I wasn't a huge fan of, but their original self-titled from '04 (which that song above comes from) was awesome from memory.
