That would be a lovely find. The one theory I just thought of is that the world/cities/population are growing so fast that people are lost in it all. It's hard to focus on one person, one job, one goal. Are there any small towns anymore where people want to stay? They're trapped in a life of five minute trends. Are there close friends who really concentrate on each other without being distracted? In the old days you would spend entire days with people. Now you're lucky to find a tweet online. Everyone is so afraid of growing old and not seeing and doing everything that their attention span is gone. They jump and wander, twitch and panic. Also people get let down so often, that they begin to look out for themselves which in turn lets down other people and the cycle continues. : ( I want to tell everyone to CALM DOWN, SLOW DOWN, TAKE A BREATH. But do they listen?
